A friend asked me about these covers, and I was unable to answer. Anyone have any idea how many of these were printed?

I believe they were made for Jim Irwin and were in extremely short supply, but cannot recall HOW short.

These are the covers with the astronaut(s)in the Moon Rover, with a green shamrock on it.

Any idea of the value as well as the print run? Thanks.

Al, there was a posting on cS that I wrote sometime ago explaining more about the Irwin/shamrock cachet covers; how they came about, their printing, distribution, and so on. Perhaps it can be re-posted here...

Ken out of curiosity - what would an uncancelled Shamrock cover signed by Al Worden be worth?

All times are CT (US)
