Hi, I have a packet sent to me from NASA in 1971. It's still in the original envelope. I was wondering if it has value to a collector? I have no one to pass it on to as my children did not get bitten by the space bug as I did. The packet contains: NASA Facts-Skylab NASA Facts-Apollo 15-to the mountains on the moon NASA Facts-Manned Spacecraft Center NASA Facts- Apollo 14-Flight to fra mauro NASA Facts-Gemini program summaryBooklet-Medical benefits from space research Stapled Report-Benefits of the United States Space Program February 1971 Perforated copy of Statement of Dr. George M. Low before the subcommittee on HASA oversight committee on Science and Astronautics House of Represetatives Roundup-For those who would ask---what price glory Mission Report-Apollo 11 Mission Report-Apollo 13-A successful failure Picture-Apollo XIII Summary April 17, 1970 Picture-Apollo 11 on the moon-July 0, 1969 Picture-Apollo 11 astronaut stands beside US flag on the moon Picture-Prime crew of fifth manned apollo mission, armstrong, collins, aldrin Picture-Prime crew of eighth manned apollo mission, roosa, shepard, mitchell An order form for more info/packets/pictures A letter that has no salutation, but begins: Your questioning of the value of space exploration while we have so many problems..... I would appreciate advice on this matter. I don't want to see it get thrown away if I don't attend to it. I am hoping to find it a good home. I was looking at the possibility of ebay. thanks in advance. ------------------ my |

mynetoo-Of course it has some value. How much depends on each person. You would receive more responses if you posted photos of the items here. A lot of the titles are familiar from my collection. Good luck getting answers to your question. Tim |

If you aren't in need of the money but aren't looking to just give the lot away to just anyone who asks, then perhaps an idea to consider would be donating them to your local library for other kids who are space interested. My own first exposure years ago to many of the publications you list was through my school library... |
