I purchased a Neil Armstrong signature from a deceased estate many years ago for a very good price. It looks OK to me, but I'm no expert. I'm thinking of selling it and was wondering what others thought and what it is worth. The litho has a noticable horizontal crease right across the center. See http://members.optusnet.com.au/~rjsmith3/signatures/armstrong.htm .

Hi Ross,

This looks authentic to me. As for the value, here are some Armstrongs which have sold on R&R recently.

A good number of these are personalized WSS signed photos, like yours. Just click on the item name link and the item's page will open, showing its image.

Disclosure: I authenticate the Space items for R&R. That said, R&R's Past Items search page is a simple and handy way of checking recent market values.

Value-wise, inscribed Armstrongs tend to sell for about $500-750, but the horizontal crease on this one would definitely hurt the value.
