Hi, I have 2 11"x17" 8 cent "United States In Space-A Decade Of Achievement" cardboard relief cut outs. Together they measure 11"x34". They look just like the stamps, and have up to 6 levels of shadowbox type relief. They look as if they could have been from a display at a post office. If you have any information on what these are I would be very thankful. Thanks again, Doug |

Hi ! I got this item....it was a "craft" type item you had to build yourself from a kit.....it was a gift to me, I am pretty sure.....quite likely for Christmas.....and one of the few things I actually put together. I put it in my room on a CORNER, so one stamp is on one wall and the other is right next to it on another wall, since it came in TWO pieces and not one, joined.Came out pretty cool. Wish I remembered more....it could have easily been an item SOLD at the post office, but I don't know that. Gee, I am glad I remember other stuff from 1971 and before with alot more clarity than I do about THIS item ! Cheers ! | |
