Can you tell me if this is authentic. Was this an astronaut class?

(pardon the typing - feeding my little girl)

really bad scan. need a better one. seller's feedback would turn me off (my personal cutoff point for a seller with that many total feedbacks is 99%).

Authentic, I believe.
The big drawback....it's missing Freeman.

The signatures look real. The only danger is if the item is actually a "photograph of the photograph". I have seen signed photos that are actually pictures of an authentically signed photo. I have no proof of this, just mentioning the possibility. The ink color and pressure on all the signatures may appear a bit too uniform and similar. Under 10x magnification you can tell the difference. Real autographs have ink that is clearly visible, especially at intersections. If the item is real, it is rare and desirable for the autographs. Hope this helps.

Chet is right, Freeman is missing. Even if the other signatures are handsigned, the absence of Freeman significantly affects the value, every bit as much as if the item is considerably faded, IMO.

Appears to be authentic, of course, if only the offered Group 3 multi-signed 11x14" pic is the original and not a reproduction or copy. This photo-type (most were matted) may have came from a Group 3 astronaut, family member, a very close astronaut associate, or even the MSC (at the time) Astronaut Office. The signatures, with many full autographs, were certainly applied at the time of their NASA Group 3 selection in 1963.
