Lets see...
Supposedly its from the 25th anniversary. In 1986 ? Its dated 1984 which was the 15th anniv.
Something fishy here.

I believe that the seller mistakenly wrote "25th Anniversary" - closer inspection of the photograph shows that it is from the "15th Anniversary."

As for the seller, I believe that he is one of our own. I do not doubt the authenticity of the piece.

I agree with NC, this is a piece from Adam Epstein, a very experienced & knowledgeable collector. Quite a remarkable piece - one I had not known of until now.

Hello All,
I am not implying that the current seller is trying to pull something. I just think that it is odd that this peice has been listed on Ebay 4 times in the last year if I am not mistaken, twice by the same seller.
I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just think it is curious. How often do you se the same item for sale this many times in such a relatively short period of time?

I looked and it had been bought previously by the seller from someone else. See: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=37753&item=2164338101
If I were you I would just write the seller and ask him any questions you may have. I am sure he would be happy to answer them.

I have tried to stay out of the fray but I will not, therefore this hopefully will end the string. I am the seller of the item that is being questioned. I had bought it to hang onto but I wound up getting hooked and have bought many space memorabilia items. Yes, I am selling it to raise funds for an anniversary gift for my wife. When I looked at the checkbook, I decided something had to go. Thus I am selling it. Its a great piece and I hate giving it up but the gift I am getting my wife will be appreciated. Why should I get all the good stuff. The original buyer put it up for auction twice and I won it the second time.
If anyone wants to email me about the item please do so at aepstein@coletaylor.com. I dont want emails to come to the email address associated with my collectspace user id. Wife reads.
I hope this helps clarify things.
Thanks
Adam
