Large (30" x 40") exhibit poster produced by the United States Information Agency (USIA) in 1963 to promote Project Mercury. This type of poster was never intended for sale to the public, and would have been sent by the USIA to U.S. Embassies around the world to showcase Project Mercury.

This poster depicts an unidentified astronaut in his silver spacesuit floating against a black background. Produced on stiff-board backing; hinged at mid-line. Some minor surface wear; top left corner bumped.
