Books and Publications below! Offering to cS community before posting on eBay/locally! Comment here and/or drop me an e-mail with any questions, interest, or offers! Scans available to those interested. All proceeds go to support the nonprofit Space Talk venue and library that we're slowly but surely working towards.Asking prices include U.S. Shipping, extra for International. I accept check, money order, PayPal, or Venmo and can support a local meetup if you're in the Los Angeles, CA area. Items all from the collection of a JPL Spacecraft Mechatronics Engineer and include COA if available (in some cases from original auction house) The below publications includes history and information about a number of the early programs -- Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and the Popular Mechanics is a wonderful 1959 overview of the developments in space exploration up to that point. Robert has an excellent summary post on cS about the NASA SPs and their history. Summary of Items - $12: 1959 Popular Mechanics "Destination: Space" +BONUS Explorer Launch 33 cent stamp with same picture as magazine cover - Stamp is Near Mint, Popular Mechanics is Okay/Good condition with some wear to the spine and cover with Very Good pages, unsigned
- SOLD: NASA SP-129 "Earth Photographs from Gemini III, IV, V", hardcover - common SP in Very Good condition with some very minor wear to corners, unsigned
- $130: NASA SP-6 "Results of the Second United States Manned Orbital Space Flight", paperback - highly collectible SP in Very Good +/Near Mint condition, unsigned with some markings on the cover
- $280: Signed 1966-67 NASA KSC Visitor Handout Package, includes original contents in original folder - some wear to folder and tear in cover, contents in Very Good condtion - cover hand signed in blue ink by Buzz Aldrin
- SOLD: Signed "Reaching for the Moon" children's book by Buzz Aldrin with illustrations by Wendall Minor, 1st edition hardcover - Near Mint/Mint condition - interior title page hand signed beautifully in blue ink by Buzz Aldrin
- SOLD: Signed "Look to the Stars" children's book by Buzz Aldrin with illustrations by Wendall Minor, 1st edition hardcover - Near Mint/Mint condition - interior title page signed prominently in blue ink by Buzz Aldrin
I'm open to offers as well as trades -- looking for other NASA SP's and some EP's and TM's, other early space exploration books and documents, and artifacts/historical documents from early robotic missions.
