EDIT: all are SOLDOn each Apollo mission, a "CSM Launch Checklist" booklet was flown in the Command Module. It contained about 100 pages of standard procedures from launch to landing, abort modes and emergency procedures, stowage lists, other data… and then at the end, a "Crew Log." Those several pages were for any notes the astronauts might want to make, with blank "Time" and "Remarks" boxes on both sides.
Here's your chance to own a 5.5" x 8" cardstock page removed from the flown CSM Launch Checklist of Apollo 12. On the front of each is written in blue felt tip: "Flown on Apollo XII / Richard Gordon / CMP."
(The crew had plenty they could have written about that launch - they were just so busy recovering from the lightning strike and subsequent power issues, they didn't have time to get it down on paper!)
You will have a page that was on board as the mighty Saturn V lifted off the launch pad in 1969. When the lightning struck and the astronauts tried to figure out what had happened and how to deal with it, this page was in the Command Module with them. It made the quarter-million-mile journey to the moon, and was with Richard Gordon when he looked down and confirmed that Conrad and Bean had made a pinpoint landing. After the return to Earth and splashdown, Gordon kept it in his possession for decades.
Here are links to photos of the whole page, a close-up of Gordon's certification that it was flown on his mission, and the back, so you can see the "Apollo 12" that was partially punched out on the front.
The price is $490. [EDIT: all are SOLD] Shipping will be $8 for Priority Mail with tracking. I have more than one available.
