He was scheduled to fly the payload bay unit but flight was cancelled due to Challenger accident. The RIO's serve as the principal interface between the Americans and Russian counterparts. $20 Gene Kranz signed shuttle cover. Kranz was Deputy Director of Flight Operations at JSC. SOLD STS-73 crew signed cover and inscribed to me. Cover was cancelled 10-20-2001 because cover which was sent preflight did not come back in time for launch cancels. This crew signed cover is not seen too often due to Bowersox not signing through the mail. $75 Set of 2 STS-75 launch covers autographed by Tethered Satellite System, Project Manager, Robert McBrayer and Mission Scientist, Nobie Stone.
