I am looking for the Apollo 15 “crew” patch which contains the Emilio Pucci initials. Unflown is preferred but realize most are flown so will entertain either. Thank you. |

That is a tall order, After almost 5 years of looking and having a conversation with Al Worden about how few of these patches there actually are, I did find one (the silver version not flown) through this forum, It cost me $1,200 plus shipping from the UK.This is the most expensive of all the patches I have purchased but it was the last patch I needed to complete the entire Crew Patch collection so I am glad I found one. Good luck with your hunt. |

Thank you — yes I am well aware of the rarity and am willing to pay that premium. I recalled your success here in finding one which is why I posted. Maybe Al Worden has a few more spares! |

For the record, Al said he has none and to the best of his recollection there are only maybe 20 that did not fly split up among the crew. He had no idea how many were flown on the mission. |

Still looking for one — either flown or unflown and am willing to pay fair price for either. Thank you. |

Yes indeed - and thank goodness I spotted this auction a few days ago. I am still in shock that it didn’t go for more than $1k. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t the lowest price ever paid for one of these since these have been tracked on Chris Spain’s website. Christmas definitely came early for me! |

Two reasons this sold so low: - poorly listed so missed by some.
- US-only, so unavailable to most collectors.
Looks like a very nice example, so congratulations. |

Those are the auctions that give your heart a jolt when you see it. The seller had quite a few rarities in their listings that day and did deservedly well. Congrats on the win, we won't see another listing like that in the wild for a few years at least. |
