With the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Apollo 8 mission, I am offering for sale one of my custom made Apollo 8 flown Kapton block style lucites. This is one of three I had made for me by Jerry Czubinski in 2008. The Kapton foil is twice the size of the standard samples offered at the time with similar lucites. This piece was removed from the modified hatch area by a North American Rockwell employee during post flight inspections in Downey, California. Comes with lots of provenance including a letter of authenticity. Email questions and pictures are available. Asking price is $260 shipped to continental U.S. [Sold] Also offering a flown space shuttle Columbia STS-58 Spacelab cold plate support structure hardware lucite. Email questions or for pics. This lucite is another Jerry Czubinski (aka Aviators Alley) design. Comes with pamphlet. Asking $140 shipped to continental U.S. [Sold] |
