Featured in our Feb. 22, 2018 auction is an Apollo 13 space flown bible with crew signed COA. Also featured is an Apollo 1 signed photo with all six signatures from primary and first backup crew, an Apollo 11 crew-signed certificate, also signed by Richard Nixon and an Apollo 11 space-flown U.S. flag from a family member of Buzz Aldrin. Auction end on Feb. 22 at 5pm PST. |

Although the bible did sell for an amazing amount, many of the lots in this auction were passed. The starting prices seemed to be close to retail and it would seem I was not the only one who did not see the value in the items offered. |

This particular auction always goes in high, receives very few bids, but sometimes the pieces do sell. Not many auctions run this way, but I see no real problem with it so long as they're happy with a 50% sale rate. | |
