Maybe somebody could help me in a donation of some electronic equipment from an Apollo mission.

I work in the electronics department in a large University in Ireland. We are in the process of setting up an electronics display cabinet in our department to display all types of electronics new and old to showcase to our students and visitors.

I always use the example to the students that without electronics man would not have reached the moon.

This made me think wouldn't it be great to show case some electronics that was used in a moon mission like a PCB board or similar (anything).

I'm looking for anything with electronic relevance that could be displayed with some significance towards the Apollo missions. I'm not looking for anything too big due to logistics and of course I would pay for shipment.

Anybody's help would be greatly appropriated. Please contact me if you can help.

This History of Hybrid Microcircuit Development at NASA may be of interest - the Goldberg auction is on 08 July.

This IBM Chip or Don Puddy's Apollo 14 G&N Delco Electronics Booklet or Jack Lousma's Apollo-Soyuz Delco Electronics Book might also be of interest - the Lunar Legacies auction is on 15 July.

All times are CT (US)
