Up for sale is the following acrylic display: - From Pad 39 - an actual piece of the Flame Trench brick that launched the first humans to the moon;
- From Apollo 10 - an actual piece of flown Beta cloth patch, the "dress rehearsal" for Apollo 11;
- From Apollo 11 - an actual piece of flown Kapton foil from the first lunar landing mission.
This Lucite will never be able to be put together again due to the dwindling supply of the Apollo 11 Kapton foil. Production is limited to 69 units and the overall size is 5 x 4.5 x 1 inches — each piece of Beta and foil is approximately 3/8 x 3/8 inches and each brick piece is approximately 0.5 x 0.5 inches. Once the supply is exhausted, "that's it!" Each piece is serial numbered and certified by Mr. Ken Havecotte, one of the experts in the field of space collecting. Please note: buyer will be able to choose their own number, depending on availability. The price is $375 which includes S&H in the continental US. International shipping add $15. Thanks for looking!

I bought one of these lucites at the ASF show last week. They are actually very unique. While I purchased it for the fire brick, the lucite also came with Ken Havekotte certified pieces of Apollo 10 beta cloth and Apollo 11 kapton foil. You just can't beat that combination. |

Received mine today. It is a very cool piece and I plan on displaying it as one of my centerpieces in my collection. Certified by Ken Havekotte pieces of Apollo 11 Kapton foil and Apollo 10 Beta cloth. My first flown artifacts. A great value in my opinion. Thank you for offering this. |
