Up for sale is a flown space shuttle tile from the space shuttle Challenger. This tile was removed after STS-7, which is notable for carrying Sally Ride (America's first female astronaut) and Robert Crippen (pilot of STS-1).

The tile measures 6.5" X 6.5" X 2" thick and has the word "SCRAP" stamped on the front and the red adhesive on the back. It will come in the original removal bag with the matching NASA removal tags — both the red/white Flown Hardware tag as well as the red scrap tag.
