Listed on eBay a couple of days ago some really nice stuff, notably: - An original 1960 LIFE magazine featuring Joe Kittinger on the cover - signed by him.
- An original UPI wirephoto of the X-20 signed by Al Crews.
- A Skylab beta patch from Paul Weitz's personal collection signed and noted by him. (Note: Betas unsigned can start at $50 this is much less).
- ACES WILD: A book by NAA test pilot Al Blackburn where he posits Yeager was NOT the first. Signed by not only Blackburn, but Ken Chilstrom and Slick Goodlin also. The listing explains why these two were added.
- A flown 1934 Sikorsky S.42 altitude record cover, signed by the NAA observer
- Flown test flight covers: B-1A and XV-9A. The XV-9A is a rare piece even not flown (which it is).
- Signed first flight covers: YF-12, F-5E and DC-10.
As always, thanks for looking! eBay seller mrbatron in case link does not work. | |
