For those following the TsENKI patch situation, it's beginning to look like Expedition 48 and TMA-20M may be the last patches from the manufacturer used by TsENKI and Roscosmos for Baikonur employees and visiting VIPs. Apparently, no patches were ordered for Soyuz MC-01 or Expedition 49. Never say never, since things can always change, but this probably means a finite run of TsENKI patches: beginning with TMA-02M and Exp34.If anyone would like to fill in holes in their TsENKI run, drop me an e-mail and let me know which ones you need. I will contact my overseas friend and have him look around during his next trip to Baikonur. This may take some time (weeks-months) and I will let you know if we can find spare patches or not before any money is sent (some patches may turn out to be unavailable). First come, first served, and the cost for any TsENKI patches we can find will be $25 each (except for the Exp48 Rubin-error patch, which would be $50). Postage will be free for collectSPACE readers. Any questions, just let me know. Thanks for all your support in the past! | |
