Posted some new items yesterday to eBay. Of particular interest to the viewers here is a Mercury Redstone signed piece I listed. It is signed by Glenn, Schirra, Carpenter and Cooper (yes I know they flew Mercury-Atlas this was just convenient at the time). However, it is also signed by a bunch of other people: Bill Dana, Dee O'Hara, Max Faget to name but a few. Also, a "Holy Grail" of Lifting Body signed piece: An M2-F1 image signed by 11 people, pilots and engineers, including Yeager, Haise and Engle. And a couple of interesting pieces: - A NASA litho of the NB-52H climbing out with the X-38 tucked under it's wing, signed by Mike Fossum who started as a flight test engineer on the X-38 program.
- And, a nice image of the H-43F helicopter in flight on a rescue mission, signed by Fred Gregory. He was quite the hero flying these in Viet Nam. An unusual piece.
Much more of course, but these are the highlights I think, interesting to folks here. | |
