I have two of the Franklin Mint 'Project Apollo' 20-coin sets, complete in their original folders with certificates of authenticity attached. Also included are the accompanying letters - the one with the first set detailing the inclusion of silver flown around the moon on Apollo 13 in the bullion melt from which the coins are struck; and the second (sent two years later) explaining that due to an error the silver used originally was *not* actually flown, and requesting the medallions be returned for remelting with genuinely flown silver.

Additionally the packing slips relating to the return and reissue of the medallions and even one of the original shipping boxes (though now much reused and heavily labelled/written upon) are included in this sale.

So these two sets of coins, one featuring the flown metal and the other not, with their associated paperwork are about the most complete archive of the Franklin Mint 'Project Apollo' coins you'll find. The unflown metal set is now the rarer of the two (over 70% of the medallion sets were returned and reissued) and the flown coins are often sold individually on eBay from anywhere between $25 and $80. (By the way, a small 'F' on each coin with a horizontal line above it denotes the reissued flown-metal coins. If there's no line it's not the flown metal melt.)

I'd prefer to sell these as a single sale, or at the very least as two complete sets, rather than break them up and sell individual coins. You can post any questions here or mail me at matt@watcuts.com, I'm happy to do photos if needed. Please make me an offer if interested.
