Pursuant to this thread, a small group of vintage signed GTA-12 MITROGS (Master In The Recovery Of Gemini Spacecraft) certificates have become available.The certificates are autographed by Gemini 12 astronauts James Lovell and Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin and also feature original signatures of Task Force Bravo Commander RADM Percival Jackson and USS Wasp CO Captain Melvin Etheridge. I would speculate these are the undedicated remainders of a batch of MITROGS certs hand-signed and reserved for higher-ranking personnel. The printed versions referenced earlier were perhaps given to the larger group of USS Wasp sailors on board for the recovery. The signed certificates originate from a NASA Public Affairs Officer (PAO) estate. Likely a rarer form of Gemini 12 crew signatures than postal covers and images, the certificates are on offer for $325. Thanks for looking. One of the available certs shown but all are in similar and fine condition.  |

One of these very nice certificates is being sold on eBay (item 262056802365) along with a couple of other items for $495. |

Seems the seller must be aware of or is a member of cS as his description on eBay is lifted from Dave Carey's almost word for word. |

I am not sure if David has any of these remaining? I was fortunate and got my pick from the early offering. These are an awesome piece of space history and the signatures are very early. I think its a deal even at that price. |

Been a few years on this thread but, Chuck, to your question there is one of these now/newly available.In light of comments above (thank you) asking $400 + postage on the last of the original group. As a bonus, will include a nice Captain's Cover from the U.S.S Wasp Gemini 12 recovery. Proceeds go to PAO family and photos are of MITROGS certificate being offered.
