I'm looking to purchase the early Mercury Scott Carpenter lithograph, head and shoulders, business suit, with a model of the Mercury Atlas behind him on the right of the image. Each of the Mercury 7 astronauts had a similar image produced and this is the last one I need for my collection. If you can help please email me. Thanks for reading. — Gary |

I have the color business suit with the flag on the left of the image, if you're interested. |

Gary, the litho you are thinking of may not exist. I have the other six Mercury astronaut 1960 lithos with the silver rocket behind them. I have Grissom, Glenn, Schirra, Cooper, and Slayton signed color lithos. I found a b&w NASA numbered signed photograph version of the Scott Carpenter 1960 pose for my collection of these, but have never seen a color litho. If it does exist, it is very rare. I have seen several sellers listing the other six 1960 astronaut lithos together over the years - but with Carpenter the litho listed is always the 1962 business suit litho with the map behind him #62-ma7-119. |

Thank you for the info but I was going by the Apollo Mission Control Photo plus website. They have it listed and displayed on there, although sadly sold out. Could anyone else confirm its existence? |

I can contact the retired NASA librarian in the PAO and check on its existence. I do have some pristine lithos of that era: - Five Schirra and eight Shepard business suit with silver rocket.
- One Carpenter business suit with US flag.
- 16 JSCL-025 All seven Mercury astronauts beside F-102
You can contact me if interested in any or all. |

I can send it as high res photo, not the litho. Have this one signed as well. |

Gary I sent you mail with the info on G60-02737 Carpenter portrait. They are looking to see if there are any lithos or just glossy prints. Will post results. |

Pleased you got one. I'm still looking for mine. All the evidence showed it to exist, just very rare. Can I ask where you discovered yours? |
