I recently got stuck with one of these models. It had a lot of damage but luckily I had all the broken parts and was able to repair the damage. BUT it is missing the silver CM. If anyone has the CM or a broken model that they want to get rid of that has this piece (I could use the box and papers also) let me know. Thanks. |

Was this the one on eBay that sold in the last couple weeks? I was corresponding with the seller to let them know what was missing and what was broken. I have a CM that I may let loose. Send me an e-mail and we can discuss options. |

I saw that one one eBay and the seller was obviously being very very vague with both the written description and with only one photograph with a shadow hiding the hole in the box where the CM should have been. In my opinion this was deceptive and intentional. His other listings show several images and much better descriptions.I would file a case with eBay and PayPal. My experience there is no investigation protocol with eBay. They just automatically rule in favour of the buyer not receiving the item not as described. As a seller I was a victim of eBay automatically ruling in the favour of a buyer who while drunk chose the Buy It Now option and after sobering up had buyer's remorse and decided I did not give him what I described. The very clear 12 pictures and long winded text be damned. Any judge would have ruled in my favour hands down. eBay seized my money while the drunkard shipped the item back to me. Once I received it — he got his money back. It cost me over $100 in shipping and fee's and I was legit — Your case is slam dunk. You will get your money back. |

As luck would have it my Apollo 13 model fell from a 7' tall shelf (that thing is heavy). The only part surviving in usable shape was the CM module that made it threw intact. Please e-mail me if interested. |

Yes, this was that auction on eBay. When I first saw the listing I guess I didn't look closely enough to see all the damage and missing parts and the seller hadn't updated it yet with the info. I did not look at the actual auction again until after I had bid. Yes I think this guy had to know but I should of checked it out better. Anyways I have spent some time repairing it. It was funny though, all the broken parts were in the box (except the CM), even some small pieces. He must not put the parts in correctly and forced the top down to create the damage or it got bounced around a lot. Two legs were totally off, one was just hanging on. Some other pieces here and there. |
