I have all 36 free flights of the X-24B (flight covers) which were cancelled at Edwards AFB on the day of the flight. Whilst most of the covers are unsigned, there are 10 of the 36 covers which are signed by the X-24B Pilots. Pilots and number of signed covers below. - John Manke (2)
- Bill Dana (2)
- Mike Love tragically killed at Edwards in 1975 (1)
- Dick Scobee who was tragically killed in the Challenger disaster in 1986 (1)
- Einar Enevoldsen (2)
- Tom McMurtry (2)
The X-24B covers would be for sale as a collection only, not individually.Signed Dick Scobee and Einar Enevoldsen X-24B covers are pretty hard to find (took me YEARS to find them!!). I am looking for $850 for all 36 covers. Free shipping by airmail or if UK based, free special delivery. Scans available on request via email: Derek@mach-buster.co.uk. |

Now reduced to $795.00.I have all the covers scanned should anyone want a look. Until I looked them out to scan I had forgotten that one of the covers was flown on the B-52 mothership and is stamped thus (I had forgotten about having a flown cover). There are actually 43 covers in the collection and I have scans of 39 of those covers. All free flights are covered. I also have another 4 covers I've not scanned. 1 is arrival at Edwards, 2 is 1st Captive flight, 3 is a flight abort due to surface winds (Manke B-A-37) and is rubber stamped thus and the 4th is a duplicate of flight 31 (Enevoldsen). |

Last reduction before I sell them individually. $600 including free international shipping. The Dick Scobee signed cover alone is worth around $200-$250 or so. | |
