I have Movie Newsreels super 8 films from several flights. I will have to dig them out to see if Apollo 15 is there. I know that I have Apollo 13. |

I have the Apollo 15 and Apollo 11 flights. I really have no idea what they are worth. |

I also have a large reel 15 super 8 film which has also been transferred to DVD via pro telecine. I have two additional Apollo 10 and 11 reels which were exclusively made for an Australian newspaper. I am in Germany but on vacation in Australia at the moment. If you are interested please let me know. |

This thread sure brings back good memories. When I was in Junior High and High School I bought all of the Apollo films made by Movie Newsreels. I would order them in advance of the mission and they were always sent C.O.D. When they arrived at my hometown Post Office I would receive a notice telling me that they were holding the package with the latest film for me to pick up. Paying for the movies, plus a projector and screen, used up most of the money I made mowing lawns and shoveling snow (I lived in Northern N.J.) but it was worth it. In addition to the film, Movie Newsreels included a listing of each of the scenes in the movie. I still have those movies though I haven't looked at them in over 35 years. |

Thank you for telling me the story!! I have got the same feelings 45 years ago with the Castle and Columbia Apollo 11 films. How much do you want for the Apollo 15 film? |
