Offering a set of three Apollo program food samples. I'd like to sell these as a set, but will consider selling them separately, too. Photos upon request.
Apollo Food, Chicken with Gravy. Dehydrated block of food in a long plastic container with instructions that read: "3 oz. water, 10 - 15 minutes." The reverse side of the wrap has a label that reads: "Serial No. FM 895." 4x13-inches.
Apollo Food, Creamed Spinach. Spoon bowl packaging, no labels (the label unfortunately fell off and was lost).
Apollo Food, Grape Drink with label that reads 7 oz. cold water, 2-5 minutes" and on the reverse "Serial no. FAQ 150". This drink itself was partially rehydrated and then dried again, which was explained by the previous owner as follows:
To the best of my knowledge it was flown. The story I was told was that the container wasn't sealed properly during manufacturing. When the astronauts opened the food container, this grape drink had condensation inside and it was brought back.
