We are moving into a much smaller dwelling in the next year or so, and it is time to start getting rid of "stuff." I have most, if not all issues of National Geographic from July 1958 through 1992 and they are tying up my limited shelf space. These issues are in better than average condition and I believe have the original maps and inserts. I am aware that some of these issues are worth a few dollars but I need the shelf space. I would like to pass these on to fellow cS members. My thought is to ship them a year at a time (12 issues) for the cost of media mail or priority flat rate via USPS. I do not need or wish to make any additional money on these but would like to be compensated for shipping. Please let me know if there is an interest here, and share your thoughts. I also have a large number of signed and unpersonalized books that will be offered to the cS community (before eBay, etc.) in the near future. Thanks. — Fred |

I would take 1958, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964 year "sets" if they are still available and will be glad to reimburse you or pay up front for media... but PLEASE no Priority Mail!If I am being greedy, then 1962 and 1964 would be my first "real" choices. Thank you! |

Years 1958, 60, 61, 62, 63 and 64 are spoken for. Due to the weight of these magazines, (just under 20 lbs for a years worth,) Priority flat rate is actually a better way to ship these. I can fit 20 or 22 magazines in a medium flat rate box and send it for $12.65. |

I'm glad you're finding homes for these. I remember as a kid, almost everyone collected National Geographics, and even as a kid I wondered why as nobody who collected them ever seemed to read them more than once. | |
