Two outstanding flown items for sale. Please e-mail me off-thread with offers, questions or requests for images.
  • FLOWN Skylab (SL-4) CM I.D. Plate
From the personal collection of the late Skylab 4 astronaut William Pogue, a flown Skylab CM I.D. Plate pen-set, complete with pens. The rectangular pen set base contains a 3" x 1 1/2" metal plate that flew as part of the Skylab spacecraft and was removed upon the conclusion of the program. The plate is engraved:

Spacecraft No. 118, Part No. V36-000002-241
Col. Gerald P. Carr -- USMC
Dr. Edward G. Gibson -- PhD
Col. William R. Pogue -- USAF
    Launch Date 11-16-73
    Splashdown Date 2-8-74

The desk set measures 5" x 10" and weighs 4 1/4 lbs, consisting of white marble with a 5" x 2 1/4" raised red velvet setting for the gold plate in its center. The pens are housed in a circular, gold plated holder imbedded on either side of the engraved plate, and black felt lines the bottom of the set base to prevent surface marring. Comes with a hand-signed LOA from Pogue, who also has signed/certified the set on the bottom in silver ink.

  • Apollo 12 FLOWN UN Space Treaty
Outstanding, 8" x 5" commemorative UN Space Treaty, printed on vellum, flown to the moon with the crew of Apollo 12 as part of Alan Bean's CM PPK. The treaty, which is still in force today via the UN, is a ten-article document that outlines the procedures and practices for space-related accidents and emergencies, and is signed (in facsimile) by representatives from the US, Great Britain, and the former USSR. It comes with a hand signed LOA from Bean, and Bean has flight certified the treaty on the document on the lower, right hand side with "Flown to the Moon, Apollo XII, Nov '69, Alan Bean" in black sharpie which is still bold and vibrant.
