A few items for sale. Please e-mail me with offers, questions or requests for images. - Apollo indicator meter
This 4.5 by 3 by 1.5 inch indicator meter was removed from a Command Module ground trainer used by the astronauts at NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center (now Johnson Space Center) in Houston, Texas. Used to gauge signal strength, a red ID label on its side reads in part, For Use On Ground Instrument Trainer Only, Part No. 690707, Serial No. 11, Link Div. General Precision Inc. - SMEAT trash bag
This beta cloth small trash bag (P/N: SEC12100229-301, Ser. No. 1014) was manufactured by General Electric Co. for NASA in March 1972. A Spacecraft Parts Tag identifies that it was removed from the Skylab Medical Experiment Altitude Test (SMEAT) chamber in September 1972. The bag was hermetically sealed and "cleaned for service" on November 16, 1973. Outer plastic has been signed on reverse by Bob Crippen and Bo Bobko. - Liberty Bell 7 flown screw in lucite
This small screw is an original component from Liberty Bell 7, which was recovered from the floor of the Atlantic Ocean on July 20, 1999, from a depth of 16,043 feet. It was removed during the restoration of the capsule conducted by the Kansas Cosmosphere. The screw could not be reinstalled because of the corroded condition of the component to which it was originally attached. - STS-68 flown stamp with signed cachet
One of the 500,000 commemorative stamps flown aboard space shuttle Endeavour's STS-68 mission in recognition of the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. The $9.95 Express Mail stamp was designed by the father and son team of Paul and Chris Calle. The stamp is affixed to an individually numbered insert card (no. 4832) that also serves as the certificate of authenticity. The card is inside a cachet featuring artwork by Keith Birdsong canceled with a 29ยข stamp designed by the Calles. This is one of the 10,000 envelopes were signed by Birdsong and numbered separately. Presented in a gold stamped portfolio case. - Landsat solar cells
Set of 50 solar cells prepared by Applied Solar Energy Corp. in 1990 for use with a Landsat satellite. Packaged in a styrofoam tray. (Unsure about ITAR status and so will only ship to U.S. citizens in the country.)
