My daughter starts college next month, so I am parting with a few items from the collection to ease the tuition pain.

Currently up for sale are as follows: A large piece of flown Apollo 13 heatshield in lucite from Lovell's collection; one of the vintage 1971 Apollo 14 crew letters of appreciation with a 1"x1" piece of flown beta cloth; and a historic Gemini V flown checklist page. More to come over the next week.

Check out my items under my eBay seller ID of rjurek. 3 days only.

Hard to believe, but I have been on eBay since 1999.

Dan - LOL! I have many collecting addictions... so, at least as far as our addictions go, seems like we might be related. I have a growing colonial collection, and this particular 15 shilling piece from 1776 is a duplicate in my collection. I love colonial currency -- especially from 1776 -- because all of the colonial official signatures are hand signed. It just amazes me, like with space artifacts, that we can actually own this kind of historic material... especially material of this quality from that momentous year.

I'm trying to figure out why your book sale profits haven't already covered the tuition costs!!!

LOL, Joel - I wish! I have to sell a heck of a lot of books just to be able to buy a beer. And don't forget, I'm just the co-author, so the royalties get split in two... before Uncle Sam steps in...

...that being said, if you want to help the cause by buying some extra copies of the book as gifts for friends, I won't complain!

LOL! Some good stuff coming - all price points and levels. Autographs. Patches. Books. Covers. The crazy thing is? This is just all the extra stuff. My daughter's tuition expense is my pain... but potentially your collection's gain!
