I'm looking to purchase books on the Apollo space program. Used/2nd hand books will be perfect as I don't have a huge budget.
Thanks.

Sam, if your after historical facts rather than astronaut biographies, many of the NASA SP (special publication) series of books are available to read online on the NASA history website. This should save your budget for other books.
I don't know what the shipping fees to South Africa are like but I always search abebooks.com for used books as they list books from all over the world. Many of the books in my collection have come from used bookstores. — Adam

Welcome to collectSPACE! As far as NASA publications; the free distribution of select SP/EP titles is still in effect honoring the NASA History Office's anniversary. See this thread for details (titles are free, but shipping is charged).
Also, check out alibris.com for any other titles you may be looking for. I myself have used the site.

I've been buying quite a few decent titles on Abebooks recently.
