Offered here is a group of four identical Apollo 16 Insurance Covers each certified on the reverse by commander John Young. Each is crew signed on the obverse.At issue here is the fact that three of them have a smudge on the "J" of John in Captain Young's signature and one has a smudge on the "h" of Captain Young's signature. All other aspects and signatures are fine.
These covers have been selling in the $2,500-$3,000 range and are among the rarest of all Insurance Covers.
These are wonderful covers and offered at a fraction of what pristine examples would bring. A great opportunity. In fact, look at the images and see that the problems explained with two of them are primarily because of the "J" hitting the edge of the envelope.
