Moonpans are pleased to announce the release of 8 maps plates flown to the moon on Apollo 12, taken from the Apollo XII Command and Service Module Orbital Photo Chart "B". Which was flown and used in Lunar Orbit by the Apollo 12 Crew during their mission in November 1969.

They show late orbit ground tracks of revolutions 39, 42 and 45 over the surface of the moon. They also depict related features such as Control Points, Ground Tracks, Initial Point, Landing Sites, Surveyors, Terminators, and much more.

These are really great items that were actually used in Lunar Orbit. And all the remaining maps have very reasonable prices

Since the original post, the first 8 maps all sold, so we are pleased to announce that Dick Gordon has just sent us all of his remaining Apollo 12 map plates.

Some of the maps are singles and others are doubles. And some show the vicinity of the Apollo 12 landing site on the Ocean Of Storms.

So we have just added a total of twelve more map plates to our Flown To The Moon Items page.
