  • "To Rule the Night" by Jim Irwin. 1973 First Edition, hardcover, signed with a 13-word personalization and inscription. Minor wear on the dust jacket's top at bottom at the spine, but the book itself is in excellent condition. (Booksellers on AbeBooks.com are offering similar signed first editions for $157 to $500.) (!) $40

  • "The Way of the Explorer" by Ed Mitchell. 1996 hardcover, personalized, with added "Apollo 14." $25

  • "Falling to Earth" by Al Worden. 2011 First Edition, hardcover, NOT personalized, with added "Apollo 15." Also signed by co-author Francis French. Another such book just sold on eBay for $77.99. $40

  • Unsigned: I have an extra copy of "Relics of the Space Race" (Third Edition, 2001) by Russ Still. Two years ago, as you can see on this cS thread, an identical copy sold on eBay for $182 (with four different bidders over $100.) A cS member called it "the true bible and must have for any collector."

It really is fantastic, with chapters on autographs (genuine, autopen, rarest signed items, signing practices of different astronauts); patches; postal stamps and covers; and various flown items.

None of the hundreds of booksellers on AbeBooks.com has a copy of the third edition. There is one copy of the second edition being offered for $250.

My copy is in mint condition, and the price is $90.

SOLD I forgot that I also have a paperback copy of "For Spacious Skies" by Scott Carpenter. It's signed on the very first page, across some positive book review excerpts. It is NOT inscribed/personalized, but it does have a couple of little red marks on the cover. Just $25. SOLD

Please see the new lower prices on the astronaut signed books above, as well as the price for the wonderful, but hard-to-find, Relics of the Space Race.
