The EGB-V cargo vessel docked successful to my space station yesterday at 12:37. Hatches were opened at 20:10 and unloading procedures began. Payload bay doors will be closed again on Thursday Sept. 20th and undocking is sheduled for Friday Sept. 21st. Then the vessel will be on its way to the next outpost.

I can tell everyone who is waiting for the EGB-V to arrive, that Chris put in some real fine treasures!

So do I remember right that the package is now in Germany? So next would be Agelika and afterwards it would be my pleasure.

(I love your explanation!!!)

Yes, on quite a few occasions the U.S. have had 'Grab Bags' go around the States. In the end they either 'crashed', or were 'lost' I think.

Yes, Chris gave me the address today! I was very busy unloading and loading the cargo bay of our EGB-V today and have closed the hatches now. So it might be that the grab bag is on it's way to Angelika tomorrow!

After feeding all the available parameters into a complicated algorithm taking into account location, availability of addresses, and order in which people asked to join the list, I have reworked the list as follows:

List moved to later post

Remember that this can still change. Anyone who has not already sent me their mailing address should do so as soon as possible so I can keep the box moving smoothly.

Before the box heads for a new target I will double check that they're ready to receive it (not on holiday or travelling on business etc) otherwise it'll be rerouted.

If the box skips you because we don't have your address or you can't be contacted don't worry - you'll get another chance later on as the box continues around Europe.

Chris - I've sent you the address of Dietrich so you'll be able to send the box on its way.

For other EGB people:

The only addresses I'm currently missing are those of Eurospace (Jurgen), Steve Procter and medaris (Cameron). Please email me those addresses so that I can keep things rolling along smoothly.

Looks like we've lost radio contact with Dietrich at the moment but if the landing is confirmed then by my calculations the EGB-V has now travelled 1,912 km.

Next step is a 619 km hop across the border to Jacques in Holland followed by a short tour of the low countries before the box takes its first flight over the sea to the UK.

... well I'm quite confused that Dietrich doesn't give a feedback. Chris I could provide you the tracking ID if you want so that you can be sure that Dietrich got the package...

...well, I am quite astonished that someone waits for a feedback, who never asked for it. Instead, he confirmed by message on 3rd Oct. that the box had arrived, which it had. He himself had asked to change the order of sending as he was not available the past week (being in the same company than me, he could have used internal email or even telephone to check).

Chris, please clarify which feedback is expected to avoid future confusion.

The box is ready to be send tomorrow to Jacques.

I think its just a good behave to say: Box has arrived, will ship the box to the next person in a few days. I'm still marked to have the box and this is not the fact!

And by the way, we're are not in the same company. And yes I'm not at home but I try to keep up an information flow just to make a planning possible.

Ok, not to worry. The important thing is that box is safe and will likely be on its way to Jacques shortly.

It is with great pride that I'd like to announce that the EGB-V patch is now real with the okay from Mike Riches and with the backing of Chris Spain.

I have had 40 4" stickers of the patch design made up. (Sorry but patches just cost too much to make up.)

I will be sending them out to Kirsten Muller in the next few day so he can add them to the box for me, and NO I have not forgotten the guys who have had the box before it gets to Kirsten. I will be sending out a letter to you all with the stickers in it so keep an eye out for it. Chris is passing your address on to me to get them to you.

I like the design so much that I just had to get it made up and not to cash in on it as some would do. I did it for the fun of it.

I am not going to ask you to pay for them or put them on eBay. They are a gift from me to you all who are to getting the box or who have had it.

I hope you like them and will only take out one or two out so we all can have one or two as I cannot get more made up as they where free, I'd like to thank Global Signs and engraving of Great Yarmouth UK for making them up for us free and from all of us to them thank you. So keep an eye out for the letters and them in the box and enjoy.

An update for you. In the way Star Trek may have put it, Starfleet comms; from Commodore Butch Wilks, Starbase Butch-1, to all EBG-V starbases (stardate; 14102012):

The EGB-V stickers sat have arrived at Starbase Kirsten on stardate: 12102012 and are now in their holding orbit at Starbase Kirsten waiting on the uss EGB Starbox-V (Starfleet ship number EBG-V ) to catch up to its orbit from starbase Jacques van Oene. This will take a few days.

On arrival, the two will go in to a very complex docking maneuver handle by the starbase personnel, and then in a few days go on together to the next starbase.

The EBG-V sub sats, all 7 of them departed Starbase Butch-1 by UK posts ion drive ships on stardate: 13102012, please note the ion drive on the ships is of a very old design and it may take up 28 day to get to your respected starbases, as UK post has not invested in warp drive at this time and will not be doing so in a long time to come.

Can all starbases let Starbase Butch-1 know when you have the sub sats coming in to your orbits by subspace comms-1 channel collectSPACE.

From Commodore Butch Wilks Starbase Butch-1; Starbase Butch-1 out.

I gave Butch the addresses of all those the box has already passed and he has already posted the decals to those people. I expect your decal will arrive any day now.
