#88 has arrived and is going to be proudly displayed. It's great, although I must mention that I didn't get a complete rectangle of green. It looks like a corner dropped off/wore away before it was encased in acrylic. |

After reading all of the rave reviews for the LC-36 acrylic I finally went ahead and ordered one. It arrived today and I've got to say I wasn't disappointed. This is a beautifully done piece and I can't wait to get my hands on the next edition. |

Final layout for Complex 14 acrylic just shipped to the manufacturer. Should be receiving a prototype sample back from them shortly. Assuming everything checks out, I plan on taking orders in August. At this point it looks like we will be looking at 100 units. I will post additional information soon. |

Should have the prototype at the end of the month. Will post images on the website, and then hopefully have it available for sale first week of September. J.L. Pickering Retro Space Images |

I was wondering the same thing. According to their last e-mail it was supposed to be unveiled at the end of August with photos to follow. Then they were suppose to start taking orders. I haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully, it will be real soon. |

Hope to have some news on the LC-14 acrylic any day. We needed to correct something on the info card in the acrylic, and then our main contact at the manufacturing company took a two-week plus vacation in September which brought things to a halt. The sample piece looks great and we are almost there. Stand by for news very soon. Also along these lines... material has already been secured for a Pad 19 acrylic as well. That will happen sometime after LC-14 is wrapped up. |

I just placed my order for pad #14 acrylic. There are only going to be 75 produced. The acrylic really looks nice and will be a great addition to the pad #36 acrylic. Can't wait to see what pad #19 acrylic is going to look like. I think these will go fast, so I would advise you to place your order real soon. |

Complex 14 acrylic orders are coming in at a very steady pace overnight and this morning. If you have any thoughts on getting one of these, I suggest you place an order sooner than later. quote: Originally posted by Michael Clemente: Can't wait to see what pad #19 acrylic is going to look like.
And yes... there will be an acrylic for Complex 19 as well.J.L. Pickering Retro Space Images |

Number 47/75 arrived today - what a great piece! I really like that you used a communications terminal in the acrylic rather than a generic hunk of metal. What an outstanding addition to the collection. Thanks a million! |

#40 arrived last night, and it really looks good. I was wondering, the piece is a communications terminal, but is there information on where it (or they, since there are 75) was in the complex, what it was used for (communications, I know, but what role did it play in that)? I know these might be simplistic questions, but I'm curious. |

My educated guess is that the outlet box these came from was used for voice telecommunications. This type of terminal in that type of box is what they would have used to make cross-connections for voice. Back in 1960 that's about all that would have been available for this type of use. At least that's my educated guess. |

From the looks of photos elsewhere in the forum, it look like there may be a nice supply of lucites from pad 39! (No, I'm not happy to see that thing torn down without a future goal for the pad.) |

I recall from a previous post that samples of the decommisoned LC-39 will not be made available to the public. Should that situation change put me down for one LC-39 acrylic! |

LC-19 Acrylic The latest in the exclusive series of launch complex artifacts, each of these stunning acrylics contains an actual section of piping from the booster erector at Launch Complex 19 at Cape Canaveral. The unique erector played a key role in the successful stacking and launch of 32 Atlas rockets from 1957 to 1996.The front depicts GT-5 and the erector, while the reverse notes the legacy launches from LC-19: - Gemini Program 1964-65 -- Two Unmanned and Ten Manned Missions
- First Rendezvous and First Docking -- Gemini 6/7 and Gemini 8
- Titan I ICBM Launches in 1959 -- the First U.S. Multistage ICBM
Measuring 6" x 2 3/4" x 1", these beautiful collector's items are individually numbered in a limited-edition issue of just 85 pieces, with the number (x/85) laser-engraved on the front. There are now a limited number of these acrylics still available through RetroSpaceImages.com. Keep in mind that the LC-14 acrylics sold out within a week. |
