I recently bought from Kathleen Neill, former head of the Irish Genealogical Society, a few dozen of the famous flag-saluting photos of Jim Irwin. She used to tour here with Jim as his ancestors came from Pomeroy in the west of the province. Each photo is c.20 years old, and has the inscription "His love from the moon" in autopen, but each signature beside this is genuine as you can see that the ink has slightly come through on the reverse. I'm describing all this as I don't have a scanner at present. I'm asking £30stg. for UK buyers, $50 for US ones, price includes recorded delivery/to be signed for at your end. Please email me at: spaceone@tesco.net Thank you! |

Will have to go back on that - Mrs. Neill contacted me last night, and she found a few boxes full of Irwin signed photos in her garage! Am inspecting them tonight - Jim gave her a flown cover ,but she won't sell! Money raised will help pay her late husband's funeral expenses. As before, $50 each - or $30 each if you buy 10 or more - can't send scans / will accept personal checks/money orders in US dollars, all buyers so far have been very pleased, it really is a one-off opportunity! |

Has anyone received one of these? I would like to know what they look like. I emailed but it bounced back as well. So, in other words, I am interested but would like to see one as well. Thanks! |

I'd like to get in line for one too!! I haven't emailed because apparently everyone's emails are bouncing around like new tennis balls, but I very much want to buy one, so I'm officially putting my name in as well. Many thanks and hope to hear soon. |

My correct address is: spaceone@tesco.net. I'd rather not say how many I got last night, she can't find her flown cover (not that she's selling it!). There should be enough to go round... if you take 10+, I can do them at $30/£20stg each. Everyone's very happy so far! |

Will have to retract that offer, as I'm getting inundated with inquiries for photos. Sorry, but it'll have to stay at $50 per litho, part of this is to go to my wife's charity, and she paid for most of these! Anyone who's already agreed to buy 10@$300 - I will honor. We still think everyone's getting a great offer! |

Thanks for buying these, we still have some left, but airmail charges average out at $10 per packet, so we're now asking US$75/£45stg per litho. Bearing in mind that these are slightly faded and other ones are on other sites/eBay at $100+, we think that's reasonable. Thanks to us - and you - the lady who had them has now been able to pay off her husband's funeral expenses. Further monies will go to N. Ire. Leukaemia Research and my pastor brother-in-law's efforts to build a Kenyan school. Sorry, I don't have paypal, see above post for a photo, please contact me offsite at: spaceone@tesco.net. Thanks all! |

That's it, folks - all lithos sold/accounted for; thanks to everyone, N.Ire. Leukaemia research and Sonshine Club (building a Kenyan school for AIDS orphans) have benefited with c.$8,000 each! Good that Col. Irwin is still doing things after his passing. The lady I bought these from told me she'd asked Jim if he thought man would return to the moon; he replied. "Yes, but not in my time." I wonder if it'll be in any of our times now! |
