I have a limited number of original working papers from the Ernst Stuhlinger collection years 1961, 63, and 67. See the post in Mercury-Gemini-Apollo dated Aug 21 by Robert for more information. The prices range from $50 - $200 depending on the content, number of "B" signatures, and amount of von Braun hand written commentary. Email me with questions or to see scans. |

If you've been thinking of buying one of these documents, I highly recommend Joel. As he wrote, he sells them for $50-200 each. I got one of the $50 ones. It was priced that low (half the price I've seen the documents for elsewhere) because it only had the "B" signature. But the typed notes contained the fascinating mention of what experiments the Apollo moonwalkers could conduct if they were supported by a separate "logistical" lander!Others in the higher range have entire sentences in von Braun's hand. Because of the good communication and quality of product, I am one happy customer. |

The response to these pages has been fantastic. If you're considering taking the plunge and purchasing one (or more) I recommend that you don't wait too long. My supply is dwindling but there are still some great pages left. Thanks! |

Another thumbs up from a happy customer. Adding a paper to my collection that von Braun himself wrote notes on almost sends shivers up my spine. It is a really nice piece. Thanks to Joel and Sandy for making them available. It also fits in well with a paper that I have which Korolev has written notes on. The race to the Moon is on! |

I must agree. I was very lucky in that Joel visited my house shortly after he acquired the collection from Dr. Stuhlinger and a year and a half before Joel decided to take these to the market. He casually mentioned them to Gilbert Huey and me in a conversation over soul food at the H & H Restaurant, an old Allman Brothers' hangout. Then after we spent the day together and the guys had left it dawned on me what Joel said he had just gotten and I called him and said, "Wait a minute...WHAT did you just tell me about acquiring von Braun's papers?!?" Shortly thereafter I purchased two pages filled with paragraphs of WvB's handwritten notes. I've got one framed in my study and one in my office. As hand-marked working documents from the era of the creation of the Saturn V, for me these beat the heck out of a signed photo. Thanks Joel. |

I've decided to sell the last two papers that I have available. They are dated 2.25.63 and 4.22.63, both have nice content and several lines of von Braun's hand written commentary. They'll cost you 175 bucks each plus shipping. I'll also include a copy of the COA signed by Dr. Stuhlinger. If you'd like to see scans please email me off list. Thanks! |
