Hello,
I am a chinese astro-philatelist and I'm looking for some covers and postcards mailed from Germany in 1939-1944. Does anybody know where I can get them ?? I need some for my astrophilatelic exhibit.
I hope to hear a new messages from everybody.

Mail from the Army Proving Ground at Peenemünde comes in a variety of forms and is recognizable only for the initiated. As this was a secret facility, many coded addresses and postal cancels were in application, i.e. company names, postmarkers from neighboring villages, anonymous field post cancels etc. Also, camp mail from the forced labor camps on the site is known.

Material like this is regularly offered by German auction houses and stamp dealers. There are probably over hundred of them. You really need to work yourself through their catalogues (online or in printed form) to find a suitable piece here and there. You are unlikely to find this sort of material on ebay.
