Can anyone help me with a litho or photo of Phil Chapman in WSS or other portrait.
I have just been sniped for the 3rd time on lithos of Chapman on ebay.
I would like his photo to add to the other 2 aussie astronauts.

Thanks folks.

I have an 'Australia In Space' emblem (kinda pictures a Shuttle launch and a kangeroo!) in 8x10 glossy form, signed by Phil Chapman and Paul Scully-Power, uninscribed - would this interest you?
Email me offlist at BrianCRobbins@AOL.com
Cheers

Thank you very much to all the kind people who contacted me about Phil Chapman lithos.

I have learnt a valuable lesson. If you are looking for something, try the Collectspace community first. The people here are very helpful and most of the time someone has what you are looking for or can point you in the right direction. The knowledge base of this group is awesome.

Thanks again. Regards, Ian from Oz.

Does anyone have a working address for Chapman? It seems he has fallen off the planet

I just happen to know Mr. Chapman a little bit, and will tell you that there is a working address out there. However, while he is a great guy, and able to be approached, he is leery of signing these days due to a couple of reasons.... one being the sale and trade of his signature. So if you get the address, write to him first, and assure him that you aren't just out to make a buck. ( And no I am not implying anything. He's semi-private with life these days. ) Take care!

Since my last post, I have gotten quite a few offline emails asking if I can help people out by getting Mr. Chapman to sign for them. I thought I would post a reply here as this is where it started. Unfortunately, I am not able to do this as I am respecting his wishes on this matter. Maybe it sounds selfish, or stuck up, but he is a family friend, and I am not going to do anything to mess with that. He is a friend, and in fact, I myself do not even have an autograph from him. I am content with the photo of he and I when I was little.
Sorry if I got peoples hopes up .... maybe I shouldn't have replied to the original post, but I felt it was of value.

From the USAF...
