I like Donnis's S1040 STS 4 crew signed but $295.00 seems like a lot for this piece. It is exactly what I'm looking for though. This STS 3 piece on Ebay is inscribed and I would really like to get an uninscribed one. This piece is also inscribed in another hand which kind of detracts from it. So if anyone has an STS 3 or STS 4 crew signed photo uninscribed at a reasonable price please let me know. Dave p.s. Don't forget to look out for the other items I need. |

Can't you still can get a STS 3 crew signed photo through the mail. Engel and Truly still sign I believe. It will only cost you time and postage. |

It is always better to spend a little extra, especially to get exactly what you want from a trusted source, than take a chance trying to find a bargain. You will never go wrong when buying a quality item.Bruce |

Yes, but while that is true.... the argument still stands that you can get the same thing for the price of postage ( and maybe a bit more ). And if that's the case, why spend spend spend? I am not putting down the dealers,( I deal with them too.) but it does seem silly to shell out all that money when you can get the same thing for alot less. Kinda like the John Young's that are selling for quite a bit, and yet they are the same ones that get sent out for nothing. Makes you wonder......... Some people are just the " I have to have that item no matter what " type I guess. Or just lazy enough to not make the effort. |

KLC, I agree that attempting to get the autographs on your own, when possible, is definitely worth the effort and much more enjoyable. However, my comments in this case referred to the STS-4 photo. Unfortunately I do not believe that it is very likely you will receive an autograph from Ken Mattingly through the mail (unless he has suddenly changed his signing habits). Bruce |

br62, See..... your post didn't state that point. In that case I would have to agree with a fellow Packer Backer. |
