British Airways release
Legends of Apollo

The Story of Humankind's Greatest Adventure and its Impact on the Next Generation of Explorers

Presented by British Airways coming exclusively to London May 30 and 31, 2020 at London's TROXY Theatre.

These two live shows will bring to life some of the amazing stories behind humankind's greatest adventure of all time, the Apollo Program, and will reveal exciting new insights into the future of human spaceflight and exploration.

Hosted by acclaimed British Astronaut Tim Peake, Legends of Apollo presents a distinguished cast of legendary men who played crucial roles throughout the Apollo program from 1961-1972.

Featuring the only flight director of every Apollo manned mission, Gerry Griffin, Apollo 13 astronaut Fred Haise, and the youngest man to walk on the Moon, Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie Duke.

The 2-hour show plus 20-minute interval, will combine scenes from actual mission footage presented with state-of-the-art, high-definition screens, lighting and sound elements.

Tickets for an exclusive VIP Dinner and Show experience on May 30 are available with a package including Premium A Reserve Seating on the lower ground floor, a three-course dinner, 2-hour beverage package, and a producers gift on arrival.

A limited number of special "Meet & Greet" packages, will be available for both shows, which will include Premium A Reserve seating, a professional photo with the cast before the show, a beverage voucher and a exclusive gift bag.

Featuring a Live Musical Performance by Mark and Kali Armstrong

Both events will feature an unforgettable special musical performance by Mark Armstrong and his daughter, American singer-songwriter Kali Armstrong, the family of the first man to walk on the Moon, Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong.

I received the following response when I emailed for confirmation about this going ahead or being rescheduled.
In the interest of public health and wellbeing, we regret to share that both shows have been cancelled due to the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

All purchased tickets for the original May dates will be fully refunded through the original source of purchase, either Ticketmaster U.K. or Legends of Apollo, Ltd.

While we remain strongly interested in bringing this event to London sometime in the future, we cannot begin to predict when the full impact of the pandemic will subside, making it difficult to foresee the next opportunity. So, in the meantime, we would like to thank our you for your enthusiastic support of the show.

Expected I guess but such a shame, I was really looking forward to this.
