Air Force Museum Foundation release Air Force Museum Foundation and National Aviation Hall of Fame present an Evening with an Enshrinee August 23, 2018The Air Force Museum Foundation and The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) invite you to join them for an evening with 2001 National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinee Joe H. Engle on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Maj Gen Engle is an astronaut, the last remaining X-15 pilot, a test pilot who has flown over 180 types of aircraft, and a pioneer in the development of the Space Shuttle. Guests will enjoy a presentation by Maj Gen Engle and a short film on test flights at Edwards AFB, followed by a Q&A session moderated by David Hartman, aviation/space writer and original host of Good Morning, America. Ticket prices vary: - $15 - Admission to the presentation and film in the Air Force Museum Theatre ($12 for Friends of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and NAHF Members)
- $65 - Admission to the event PLUS a social gathering with Maj Gen Engle at 530 p.m. overlooking the X-15 in which Maj Gen Engle flew 16 times as a test pilot (refreshments will be served)
- $200 - Admission to the event and social gathering PLUS a personalized, autographed print pre-signed by Maj Gen Engle
Social gathering and personalized print tickets are limited. Prints will be autographed prior to the social gathering. No autographs at the events but pictures will be permitted. | |
