Anyone else get a ticket? I didn't. I'm on the standby list. I don't think I will make the trip.

I missed out too. Unfortunately, these days for the higher profile events, once the big donors are all accomodated, there are few seats left in the theater.
NASM has done a commendable job setting up overflow in the main gallery, but I don't know how the construction of the new setup there has impacted that. It may be that the gallery no longer allows overflow seating, so the planetarium theater is all that is available.

I have two extra confirmed tickets in the theater for this event. If you could definitely make it into Washington on the afternoon of June 14 (Tuesday), please e-mail me by Saturday 8 p.m. EST with the subject heading "Mike Collins." I'll put everybody's name in a hat and pick two, and immediately let those two know they'll be coming. I think that's the fairest way to handle this.
I know it's rather late notice, but two people who were going to come with me had to drop out recently. — Steve
