A time capsule sealed April 20, 1966 is being opened exactly 50 years later this upcoming Wednesday (April 20) at 10 a.m. Special speaker at the event is Milt Heflin.
Among other things in the capsule is a U.S. flag flown by Pete Conrad. The contents will go to Freeman Memorial Library, which was founded in memory of Theodore Freeman.
