Live on Stage Australia are proud to announce An Evening with Buzz Aldrin - Mission to Mars. In this world first event we take a journey with Buzz through space history and into the future, a future beyond planet Earth.

We will relive his incredible missions from fighter pilot in Korea, his pioneering flight in Gemini 12, where he made a highly successful and record-setting complex space walk, Man's historic Apollo 11 Moon landing and together with Neil Armstrong becoming the first two humans to set foot on another world.

Now Buzz is on a new mission, a mission to land humans on Mars by 2035 and he has a revolutionary plan to do it. Hosted by Australia's most experienced journalist Ray Martin, combining state of the art production, using stunning images and footage from Buzz Aldrin's personal library of material.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see and learn about the future of space exploration from one of the greatest hero's of our time.

NOW ON SALE - State Theatre Sydney, Friday November 27, Melbourne Town Hall, Sunday November 29. Book now.

On November 29, we had a great night at the Melbourne Town Hall. Buzz gave us an entertaining night reminiscing about his life and adventures in space. We had a host, Ray Martin, who could have been a little more on top of his brief, but kept the night moving in the right direction.

The second half of the night focused on Mars. Buzz's interest in manned missions to Mars was quite an eye-opener...

Although I didn't get to meet him personally, I now can say I've been in the same room with two astronauts.

All times are CT (US)
