Ah, my mistake, we need to fix that! You would be most welcome and I know a group of ex Honeysuckle Creek, Parkes, Island Lagoon, Orroral Valley, Carnarvon and Cooby Creek workers spread across the country would love to have a beer or two with you!

We had a brilliant afternoon on Sunday celebrating 45 years since the Apollo 13 mission. We had a live talk by long term supporter of the Space Association, and self-confessed space buff, Derryn Hinch on his recollections of being a reporter in Houston during those tense days.
Plus a recorded personal greeting to our gathering by Apollo 13 Lunar Module Pilot Fred Haise.
Thanks to all that were able to be there and to the Space Association of Australia Inc. committee and membership for all the hard work. Fred is looking forward to the 50th!

Fred Haise has kindly given me permission to upload the greeting from him we recorded and was shown, prior to the screening of the Ron Howard movie Apollo 13, on Sunday April 12 here in Melbourne, Australia. Enjoy!
