Apply for Credentials for a Tweet-Up with Mike Massimino!

We're inviting Twitter users to apply for credentials to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum's Behind-the-Scenes Tweet-Up Tour of our new HUBBLE@25 exhibition, led by co-curator and former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino (@Astro_Mike).

Selected participants will gain after-hours access to the Intrepid Museum's Space Shuttle Pavilion in the evening on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, for this event, #Hubble25Social. Check-in will open at 6:00pm and the Tweet-Up Tour will start promptly at 6:30pm and last for 60-90 minutes.

#Hubble25Social participants will have the opportunity to:

• Gain after-hours access to the Museum’s Space Shuttle Pavilion on December 2, 2014
  
• Participate in a special behind-the-scenes tour of the new exhibition led by HUBBLE@25 co-curator and former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino
  
• Explore the rest of the Space Shuttle Pavilion, home of space shuttle Enterprise, with Mike Massimino
  
• Meet fellow space and science enthusiasts who are active on social media

The deadline to apply is 4:00 p.m. EST on November 18. All social media accreditation applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Astronaut Mike Massimino showed us the actual, well-engineered tools that were used to make repairs during the Hubble Servicing Missions.
