Can someone tell me when the STS-124 crew (Aki Hoshide in particular) will visit Japan and Europe? (The first half of July I will be in Japan.)

Last month the STS-123 crew visited Japan and the STS-122 crew visited ESTEC, Noordwijk without any announcement on the cS board. Do JAXA and ESA keep some of these visits a secret?

The STS-123 visit was a little frustrating because I was at ESTEC just one day before their visit... If I had known I would have rescheduled my visit.

They only visit Europe when an ESA astronaut is a member of the crew.

But if you want to meet some astronauts or cosmonauts then this is a good event.

Sometimes ESA (or JAXA) may post a preview article or media alert about upcoming shuttle crew visits (example) but if the events listed are for media-only or are private, they are not listed on Sightings or elsewhere on collectSPACE.

All times are CT (US)
