At 7:00 p.m. EST on January 19, 2008, at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, director Jeff Roth and Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell will host a benefit screening of Roth's film, The Wonder of it All.

All proceeds will benefit the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Foundation and their efforts to complete a monument to the workers of Project Apollo.

The film screening will be preceded by a silent auction and followed by a question and answer session with Dr. Mitchell and the filmmakers.

Tickets are $12 per person, $20 per ticket with an official 18x24 movie poster, or $60 per ticket together with a signed poster by a moonwalker.

Tickets can be bought by going to www.thewonderofitallfilm.com or sending payment to bula@adelphia.net through Paypal.

Robert,

Do you know if the film will be shown on one of the IMAX screens or in the Astronaut Encounter/Universe Theatre?

Thanks!
Rob

Kraig, yes, I've seen it a few times now, including during an early preview for the JSC community and then again as part of a similar Space Walk of Fame benefit screening as the one described above.

It's an excellent documentary in that it uniquely focuses on the men who flew the missions rather than the flights themselves. Jeff Roth, Paul Basta and the others involved with the film are to be commended for a job very well done.

I'm thinking about heading over to KSC for this. Does anyone know if you will be able to buy tickets at the main gates?

All times are CT (US)
